4 Days Amboseli, Tsavo West & East Safari
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and start the drive to Amboseli National Park. The journey passes through the scenic Masai countryside along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway. Arrive at Amboseli in time for lunch, then check in at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, set out on a game drive in search of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and other wildlife. Mount Kilimanjaro forms a stunning backdrop, perfect for photography and capturing the magic of the park. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Amboseli to enjoy the morning wildlife activity. After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park. On the way, admire the dramatic Shetani Lava Flow. Stop at Mzima Springs, where hippos, crocodiles, and fish can be viewed through the underwater hide. Arrive at your lodge or camp for lunch and a short rest, then head out in the afternoon for a game drive, including a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary. Tsavo West is home to elephants, giraffes, rhinos, and a rich variety of bird species, all set against scenic mountains. Return for dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a short morning drive in Tsavo West before continuing to Tsavo East National Park. Along the way and at the lodge, you can enjoy game viewing during your lunch break. In the afternoon, set out for another game drive across Kenya’s largest park. Here you may spot herds of red elephants, lions, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles, waterbucks, impalas, and many bird species. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Tsavo East – Nairobi
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo East, followed by breakfast at the lodge. You may enjoy one last short game drive before checking out. Depart for Nairobi, stopping for lunch on the way, and arrive in the early evening. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, concluding your safari.

4 DAYS - 3 NIGHTS
Quite a challenge. The ascend to the base of the high peaks of Mt Kenya is steady and longer hence a real test on individual fitness. Descent through Sirimon is more or less gradual and at a comfortable pace. This itinerary includes mandatory camping at Mintos on day 2 but unless preferred the rest of the nights can be in the huts available along the way.
Tip: Day 2′s hike is a long one involving a steady climb up to Mintos. Hikers who are not limited by time can take an overnight stopover at the Nithi Camp (3300m) mid-way to Mintos. From here they can explore the nearby Nithi Falls or climb Mugi hill (3500m) for better acclimatization. Alternatively you can hike directly to Mintos/Halltarn and spend an extra day here instead to recuperate and explore the Gorges Valley which also accords you a better acclimatization due to the higher altitude.
