3 Days 2 Nights Rift Valley Safari to Lake Nakuru, Lake Bogoria and Lake Naivasha

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

Pick up from the airport or your hotel and drive to Lake Nakuru. Arrive before noon for an early lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to over 350 bird species, including flamingos, plovers, marabou storks, white pelicans, and egrets. You may also encounter rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions, zebras, antelopes, buffaloes, and other wildlife. In the evening, enjoy dinner and spend the night at your camp or lodge.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Lake Bogoria – Lake Baringo

After breakfast, depart for Lake Bogoria, arriving mid-morning for a game drive. The area is rich in birds and wildlife, making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts. Spot the elusive Greater Kudu with its spiraling horns, cheetahs, impalas, Grant’s gazelles, waterbucks, and other animals. Lake Bogoria also features geysers, hot springs, and natural thermal pools. After lunch, continue to nearby Lake Baringo for a boat ride to see hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife, followed by a visit to ancient caves. Lake Baringo is home to large populations of hippos, crocodiles, and over 450 of Kenya’s native bird species. Later, drive to Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi

Start the day with an early breakfast, then take a boat ride to Crescent Island. Here, you can feed birds with small fish and observe hippos up close. On the island, enjoy a walking safari among abundant wildlife, including wildebeest, waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, and giraffes. Crescent Island hosts many birds such as pelicans, cormorants, and fish eagles, while occasional sightings of pythons, hyenas, and buffalo add to the adventure. After exploring, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon to conclude your 3-day safari.
