Pick up from your hotel or the airport and set off on the drive to Tsavo West National Park. Along the way, enjoy the changing scenery as you leave Nairobi behind. Arrive at the park in time for lunch before heading out for an afternoon drive. Spot elephants roaming the plains, watch flocks of birds, and take in the dramatic sights of Mzima Springs, Shaitani Lava Flow, and Chaimu Lava Flow. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, begin the journey towards Amboseli National Park, passing through stretches of Masai country. Arrive in time for lunch, then spend the afternoon on a game drive with Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the background. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, zebras, and other wildlife as they move across the park’s open plains and acacia woodlands. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or camp.
Enjoy the views of Kilimanjaro from your lodge in the morning before breakfast, then head out for a full day in the park. Take in Amboseli’s wide plains, swamps, and marshes as you track elephants, giraffes, lions, and other animals. Picnic lunch is served in the park. There is also a chance to visit a nearby Masai village where you can see traditional homes and enjoy music and dance performances. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Have breakfast at the lodge, then leave Amboseli and descend into the Rift Valley towards Lake Naivasha. Arrive in the evening, check in to your lodge, and relax after the drive. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.
After breakfast, take a boat across Lake Naivasha to Crescent Island. Here, walk among zebras, giraffes, and gazelles, and watch hippos resting in the water. Feed fish to the fish eagles and enjoy the variety of birds along the shores. Later, continue the drive to the Masai Mara with a stop for lunch in Narok town. On arrival, check in and take an afternoon game drive. Watch as lions, elephants, leopards, giraffes, and other wildlife move across the rolling savannah. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.
Spend the full day in the Masai Mara, witnessing its famous concentration of wildlife. Watch herds of elephants, zebras, and wildebeest, and look for lions, leopards, and rhinos. The Mara River offers sights of hippos and crocodiles, while migratory herds bring an ever-changing spectacle to the plains. Picnic lunch can be enjoyed in the heart of the reserve, and there’s an option to visit a Masai community in the evening. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, pack up and leave the Mara for the drive back to Nairobi. Stop for lunch on the way and arrive in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped at your hotel or the airport to conclude your safari.
